Itinerary
We start the tour by picking you up from the Airport and we proceed to Dambulla. First we sightseeing the city and visit one of the biggest vegetable markets in Sri Lanka. Next we visit Dambulla cave Temple which has five caves under a vast overhanging rock .There are images of the Lord Buddha. After that we proceed to Minneriya National Park. There you can experience wild life and nature safari. After finishing up with the safari you will be transferred to the hotel where you stay overnight.
After the breakfast we proceed to climb up Sigiriya Rock which is also known as lion rock. Sigiriya rock fortress is famous for the frescoes and it has 22 painted pictures. After stepping down Sigiriya we head to Polonnaruwa which is a well-preserved city of ancient dagobas, moonstones, beautiful parks, massive buildings and stunningly beautiful statues. After sightseeing the Polonnaruwa you can have an Ayurvedic herbal treatment in Habarana. End of the herbal treatment you will be transferred to the hotel where you stay overnight.
After the breakfast we head to Kandy. First we visit spice garden in Matale. After that we visit the Temple of Tooth which is also known as Dalada Maligawa, a sacred place where the Buddha's left tooth rests. Then we visit Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. In the evening you participate to a cultural dance show in Kandy. End of the cultural show we will transfer you to the hotel.
On the fourth day morning we pick you up from the hotel after breakfast and we visit a Batik factory and a tea factory. Then we head to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. It is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants. After finishing up with the orphanage we end the tour by transferring you to the departure at the airport.
