ITINERARY


Itinerary

We start the tour by picking you up from the Katunayake international airport and first we do the Negombo city tour. In the Negombo city tour we cover Dutch port, Negombo Church, Fish market, Buddhist Temple and Hindu Temple. After sightseeing the Negombo city you will be transferred to the hotel where you have the overnight relaxation.
After the breakfast of the second day we head to Chilaw Hindu temple which is an important regional Hindu temple complex in Sri Lanka. Next we visit the fish market in Chilaw and head to the Wilpattu National Park. The unique feature of this park is the existence of “Willus” – Natural, sand-rimmed water basins or depressions that fill with rainwater. Next you can have a safari at Wilpattu National Park. After finishing up with the safari we head to Anuradhapura and you will be transferred to the hotel where you stay overnight.
On third day morning we pick you up from the hotel after the breakfast and we go sightseeing the Anuradhapura ancient city. Anuradhapura is one of the ancient monastic capitals in Sri Lanka and it is a UNESCO world heritage site. First we visit Sri Maha Bodhi and Abhayagiri Dagaba. Next we head to Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, Thuparamaya and Lovamahapaya. Along the way we visit Jethawanaramaya, Mirisaveti Stupa, Lankaramaya, Moonstone, Twin ponds and Samadhi Statue. After finishing up with the sightseeing you will be transferred to the hotel where you stay overnight.
On the fourth day morning we pick you up from the hotel after the breakfast and head to Trincomalee. First we visit hot water wells at Trincomalee. Next we head to the Koneswaram Hindu Temple. After sightseeing the Hindu temple we transfer you to the hotel where you stay overnight.
On the fifth day morning we pick you up from the hotel after the breakfast and we visit Nilawali beach. At Nilawali beach you can have a relaxation at the beach. Next we visit Pigeon island and there you can do snorkeling and have some beach rest. After finishing up with the pigeon island you will be transferred to the hotel where you stay overnight.
On the sixth day morning we pick you up from the hotel after the breakfast and we will head to Dutch port and Beach. Also known as Galle Fort, in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. After you finishes up we will transfer you to the hotel where you stay overnight.
On the seventh day morning we pick you up from the hotel after the breakfast and head to Polonnaruwa the second most ancient kingdom in Sri Lanka. It is a well-preserved city of ancient dagobas, moonstones, beautiful parks, massive buildings and stunningly beautiful statues. After the sightseeing we transfer you to the hotel where you stay overnight.
On the eighth day we pick you up from the hotel after the breakfast and head to Sigiriya which is an ancient rock fortress. Sigiriya is famous for the frescoes and it has 22 painted pictures. After climbing the Sigiriya rock we proceed to Minneriya National Park. There you can experience wild life and nature safari. After finishing up with safari you will be transferred to the hotel where you stay overnight.
On the ninth day we pick you up from the hotel after the breakfast and we head to Dambulla. We go sightseeing the Dambulla city and there you can see the Sri Lanka’s biggest vegetables market. Next we visit Dambulla Cave Temple one of the most impressive cave temples in Asia. It has five caves under a vast overhanging rock, carved with a drip line to keep the interiors dry. Inside the caves, the ceilings are painted with intricate patterns of religious images following the contours of the rock. After that we visit the Herbal Garden. Finally we end up the tour by transferring you to the departure at the Airport.
